Butte College Veterans Services is holding its annual Veterans Day celebration on Wednesday, November 7 from 11 am to 2 p.m. at the main campus, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville, campus lawn. The College’s Veterans Day celebration is a way for us to recognize and honor student veterans as well as the veteran community. Over 300 student veterans attend Butte College and this event honors their service. The day will include the Beale Air Force Base Honor Guard, veterans organizations, and special guest speaker 12 year old Preston Sharp, of Redding, who has been recognized nationally for his service in honoring veterans throughout the year.
